Pioneer is a long-standing Ribbon customer that recognized the market for business communications was transitioning to the cloud. Pioneer’s customers wanted sophisticated cloud-based phone systems instead of traditional PBXs. To meet that need, Pioneer had to decide whether they wanted to build out an entire infrastructure in their own network or deploy a white-labeled UCaaS solution.
Pioneer decided to deploy Ribbon’s Kandy Business Solutions (KBS) as Pioneer Business Solutions so they could quickly get into the market for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). Kandy eliminated the extended timeline associated with learning about new technology, planning an infrastructure upgrade and commissioning a new offer. Instead, Pioneer focused on delivering a new service into a competitive marketspace. Pioneer built UC service packages and SIP trunk packages that are easy to understand and easy to buy from their website and are pleased to report that the solution has surpassed initial sales expectations.
