Sonus Networks Adds 18 Companies To Open Services Partner Alliance

Initiative Attracts More Than 130 Vendors in Two-Year History of Alliance

WESTFORD, Mass., May 15, 2001 – Sonus Networks (Nasdaq: SONS), a leading provider of voice infrastructure solutions for the new public network, today announced it has increased membership in the Open Services Partner Alliance(R) (OSPA) by 18 companies, further expanding the spectrum of network solutions available to the carrier market. Sonus has added the following telecom vendors to the Alliance: aTelo, Empirix, Gallery IP Telephony, Indigo Software, Infozech Software, iSoftel, MesssageMachines, NetNumber, Occam Networks, QuesCom, RADCOM, Strata Group, TeleSynthesis, TGF Linux Communications, TransNexus, UltraDNS, Verascape and Webley Systems.
