Chip Boyle

VP, Systems Architecture

Chip Boyle is Vice President of Systems Architecture at Ribbon, where he leads Ribbon Research Labs and drives AIOps initiatives. He joined Ribbon through the acquisition of Anova Data, where he played a key role in both the business acquisition and technical delivery of major engagements with some of the world’s largest network operators.

In his current role, Chip spearheads innovation across AI, automation, and other cutting-edge technologies—guiding ideas from concept to customer. Prior to Ribbon, he held leadership and founding roles at multiple startups and contributed to engineering efforts at major telecom companies, focusing on the development of advanced networking products.

Chip holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is also the holder of several patents.
