For over 15 years, Ribbon Communications and Cellusys have worked together to drive innovation in signaling solutions. Today, we’re excited to announce the next phase of our collaboration: Cellusys and Ribbon will be combining the strength of the Cellusys Signaling Firewall and Roaming platforms with the Ribbon DSC and STP though the purchase by Cellusys of a license of the source code to the Ribbon STP and DSC products.

To ensure continued innovation and support, Cellusys has hired our talented engineering and support teams of these products. This means you can expect the same high-quality service and ongoing improvements that you have come to rely on. Moving forward, Cellusys will be spearheading the innovation and roadmap of the DSC on behalf of both companies.

We believe this partnership will bring significant benefits, including enhanced features and faster development cycles. Our commitment to providing you with the best possible experience remains unchanged.  Ribbon will continue to engage with customers for the STP and DSC product lines, ensuring seamless continuity in sales and business relationships. Meanwhile, Cellusys will take the lead on Engineering, Professional Services, and higher-level support, ensuring these solutions remain at the forefront of signaling technology.

With this change, customers will benefit from a carrier-grade, scalable, and adaptable signaling solution designed for 3G, 4G, and 5G networks, including virtualized environments. These solutions integrate seamlessly with Roaming VAS, Signaling Firewall, and Analytics, addressing the evolving demands of modern networks. As 3G, 4G, and 5G NSA/SA networks continue to coexist and as IoT applications expand in Industry 4.0, this adaptability will be more critical than ever.

We are confident that this evolution strengthens our signaling portfolio and ensures long-term value for our customers. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Cellusys and delivering world-class signaling solutions for the future of telecommunications.
