We are less than a week away from hosting our first Perspectives conference as Ribbon Communications and I couldn’t be more excited. Perspectives is our one of a kind summit that brings attendees from across the globe together and gives them the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, while getting to know us, our solutions and our partners better. It has always had the reputation of being one of the most educational, insightful and entertaining events in the industry and this year will be no different. Our goal is always to make Perspectives one of our industry’s must-attend events.

We like to say that Perspectives is much more than just a user conference or industry tradeshow, because we try to strike a delicate balance in featuring top level speakers and offering our partners great branding visibility and networking opportunities, while providing attendees access to some of today’s most thought provoking influencers and panelists, complemented by outstanding entertainment.

This year’s Perspectives speakers and presenters represent some of the most recognizable brands in the world, include AT&T, Bell Canada, British Telecom (BT), Charter, Intel, Microsoft, NTT, Polycom, TELUS, Verizon, Wells Fargo and many more. Our star-studded line up of speakers will be talking about what they see as the key trends and topics that are upending the communications ecosystem and that our customers need to tackle, in order to continue moving forward in the industry. These topics include the accelerated move to the cloud, securing business-critical communications and digital transformation.

It’s an opportunity to hear from some of the brightest minds in the industry and understand not just where we are right now, but where we are headed. We put a lot of effort into selecting the right presenters and designing panels that address today’s issues in a format that is comfortable, large enough to bring quality people, but intimate enough to enable and facilitate meaningful dialogue. There’s a personal quality to the interactions at Perspectives that is rare and I think really helps to set us apart.

Over the past few months, our entire organization and especially our Marketing team has worked very hard to integrate us into a single company and we are all excited to showcase our expanded solutions, product breadth and capabilities to this year’s attendees. We go out of our way to provide an incredible experience and a fantastic venue and entertainment. For the second consecutive year Perspectives will take place in the heart of downtown LA, my hometown, at the world-famous L.A. LIVE entertainment and sports district.

I am also excited about this year’s nightly entertainment, which I am sure will be a big hit with attendees. Each night will include themed live entertainment and networking opportunities, as the summit concludes on June 6, with Los Angeles-based BERLIN featuring Terri Nunn, one of the greatest synth electro-pop bands of all time who will perform exclusively for the conference attendees at the iconic Microsoft Square.

As in the year’s past, I am proud to host a gathering that is very near and dear to me, the Alliance of Channel Women Networking Event in support of women in tech, taking take place Wednesday, June 6 from 5 pm – 7 pm, as part of the official agenda of Perspectives18.

We could not pull off the event without the strong support of our awesome sponsors, many of whom will be exhibiting great demonstrations in our Solutions Showcase, and I would like to personally thank each one of them for their part in helping make Perspectives the unique event that it is.

We know that it takes a lot for people to devote four days to our conference and we make a huge effort to ensure that our customers and partners get real value and enjoyment from the event. With the combination of such a great line-up of speakers, outstanding entertainment, numerous networking opportunities and world-class venue, I am confident that this year’s event will be our best yet.
