Consolidated Communications, with the recent acquisition of North Pittsburgh Systems, Inc., is now the 12th largest telecommunications company in the United States.  With the addition of the Pennsylvania company, Consolidated is now providing VoIP services on the M6 platform to their customers in Pennsylvania and Texas and internally for their Illinois operations.  Consolidated Communications, which has had the M6 platform in operation for its business and residential subscribers since 2003, is now standardizing on the M6 for VoIP growth in all their CLEC, ILEC and MVNO markets.
