GENBAND Appoints Patrick Joggerst as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing

Plano, TX, January 19, 2016GENBAND™, a leading provider of real-time communications software solutions, today announced that it has appointed Patrick Joggerst as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Mr. Joggerst, who was previously Chief Marketing Officer for GENBAND, will now also lead the company’s sales organization, in addition to marketing initiatives. He will continue reporting to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David Walsh.

“Patrick’s more than 30 years’ experience in leading sales and marketing for global brands in the telecommunications and technology industry will serve him well in this expanded role,” said Mr. Walsh. “I have worked closely with Patrick in the past and am confident that he is the right person to help us accelerate the business.”

Prior to GENBAND, Mr. Joggerst was head of worldwide sales at BroadSoft, a leading provider of Unified Communications software and services. Mr. Joggerst has also served in various executive and sales leadership positions with Aricent, NextPoint Networks (formerly NexTone), Telcordia Technologies, PrimeCo PCS, Global Crossing and AT&T.

Mr. Joggerst is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
