GENBAND to Establish International Headquarters and Business Services Centre in Galway, Ireland

Galway, Minister for Social Protection, Éamon Ó Cuív, TD today (Wednesday, December 1st) announced that GENBAND, a leading developer of Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructure and service solutions, plans to establish its International Headquarters and Business Services Centre in Galway, which represents an €8 million investment by the company that will create more than 100 new jobs. GENBAND’s decision is supported by the Irish Government with the aid of IDA Ireland (Industrial Development Agency).

The Galway facility will create new employment positions in finance, supply chain management, customer support, software development, HR, legal and administrative activities.
