August 29, 2007, Plano, TX - GENBAND™ Inc., a market-leading developer of next-generation IP gateways and application solutions, today announced that it has been named on the 26th annual Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

This is the first time GENBAND was eligible for this prestigious list of the nations’ fastest growing privately held companies. Inclusion on the list is based on a company’s percent increase in revenues over a four year period. From 2003 to 2006 GENBAND revenues grew 1,089.8% percent, which places the company at 194 in the ranking. For the Inc. telecommunications industry category, GENBAND ranked number 12 in the top 100 listing.

The 2007 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2006, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.
