GENBAND Taps Ricardo Diaz to Lead Caribbean and Latin America Sales Region
Diaz brings more than 30 years senior sales leadership and management experience in telecom and software
Frisco, Texas, December 1, 2014 – GENBAND, a leading developer of real-time communications software solutions, today announced that Ricardo Diaz will lead the company’s Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) sales region. Mr. Diaz will report directly to John Ryan, GENBAND’s Senior Vice President of Americas Sales.

Mr. Diaz has more than 30 years of experience in senior sales, sales management and business development in the technology and communications service provider markets, focusing on core infrastructure solutions, software and telecommunication services. He most recently served as Vice President of CALA Sales at Westell Technologies, a global leader of intelligent site management, in-building wireless, cell site optimization and outside plant solutions. Prior to joining Westell, Mr. Diaz held various senior leadership roles at telecommunications solutions providers Openwave Systems, Tekelec (acquired by Oracle) and Harris Corporation.
Mr. Diaz earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology.
