Austin, TX – General Bandwidth ® , a leading telecommunications equipment provider enabling carriers to deliver enhanced voice services over broadband networks, announced the promotions of Carla Quinn to Chief Financial Officer and Greg Allemann to Vice President of Customer Relations.

Ms. Quinn assumes overall responsibility for financial planning and management and will be working closely with General Bandwidth's senior leadership team to enhance overall fiscal performance. Since joining General Bandwidth in June 2000, Ms. Quinn has served as the VP of Finance and Corporate Controller. With 14 years of financial management experience, Ms. Quinn participated in two successful IPOs and her experience has included merger and acquisition work, private placements, and public securities compliance. Ms. Quinn received a B.B.A. from Southwest Texas State University and is a CPA in the State of Texas.

As the Vice President of Customer Relations, Greg Allemann brings more than 35 years of telecommunication experience to General Bandwidth and will be working closely with the sales team to expand revenues through General Bandwidth's largest carrier customers.

Mr. Allemann had previously served on General Bandwidth's Advisory Board. Since 2000, he has been a consultant to the communications industry as advisor for several privately held companies and venture capital firms. He is also a former board member of iMagicTV. In 2000, Mr. Allemann retired from SBC Communications after a 30 year career in which he held a variety of positions in technology research, network planning, network operations, product development, market planning, and procurement. During his last eight years with SBC, he was Vice President and Executive Director of Broadband Infrastructure and Services for SBC's R&D subsidiary (SBC Labs). Mr. Allemann has served as past chair of the Texas Telecommunications Engineering Consortium and the Advisory Board of the University of Texas Electrical Engineering Department. He has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Kansas.
