(Nasdaq: RBBN), a global leader in secure and intelligent cloud communications, today announced that it will be demonstrating its Session Border Controller (SBC) portfolio at Microsoft Ignite, September 24 -28 in Orlando, Florida. Ribbon’s SBC technology is available in Microsoft’s Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams. The Microsoft-certified solution provides secure, integrated voice services to Teams collaboration environments. The offering now also includes Media Bypass, which is powered-by Ribbon’s SBC and allows for improved voice quality in the Teams environment by reducing voice latency and the number of points of potential call failure.
