The service, which leverages the seamless interoperability between the Sonus-branded line of Belkin's VoIP broadband phone adapters and Sonus' industry leading ASX™ Access Server, offers consumers the ability to assign distinctive ring tones for incoming calls. Sonus and Belkin announced their formal partnership in May 2005, which included a mutual commitment to extensive interoperability testing in order to streamline the process for consumers in setting up and using a consumer VoIP system.
