CHELMSFORD, Mass., September 6, 2006 – Sonus Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONS), a leading supplier of service provider Voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure solutions, and EMBARQ Logistics, a division of Embarq (NYSE: EQ), announced today that the two companies have entered into a distribution agreement whereby EMBARQ Logistics will resell the entire suite of Sonus' award-winning IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)-ready solutions throughout North America. EMBARQ Logistics, Embarq's deployment, distribution and logistics division, will now include in its product portfolio Sonus' products for the local and core IP telephony market.
