Sonus Networks Appoints Bert Notini to Board of Directors

WESTFORD, Mass., March 31, 2003 – Sonus Networks (Nasdaq: SONS), a leading provider of voice infrastructure solutions for the new public network, today announced the appointment of Bert Notini, executive vice president and CFO of Manufacturers Services Limited (NYSE: MSV), to the company's board of directors.

Notini has worked with companies in the high tech industry for nearly 20 years. Since October 2000, Notini has served as the CFO of Manufacturers Services Limited, a global electronics and supply chain services company. He joined Manufacturers Services Limited in May 2000 as executive vice president, business development and general counsel, and served in that capacity until October 2000.

Previously, Notini spent five years at Wang Global, where he held the positions of executive vice president, corporate development and administration, and general counsel. Wang Global was acquired by Getronics NV in June 1999 and Notini served as executive vice president of Getronics until February 2000. Prior to joining Wang, Notini was a partner at the Boston-based law firm Hale and Dorr LLP. Notini holds an A.B. from Boston College, an M.A. from Boston University, and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. Notini also serves as a director of ePresence, Inc.
