Alliance Offers Service Providers End-to-End Packet Network Solutions; Membership Grows to More Than 100 Partners

WESTFORD, Mass., March 19, 2001 - Sonus Networks (Nasdaq: SONS), a leading provider of voice infrastructure solutions for the new public network, today announced it is continuing to build and broaden its Open Services Partner Alliance(TM) (OSPA) through partnerships with 11 leading telecom vendors. Sonus' OSPA includes more than 100 members that help bring a broad spectrum of revenue-generating services to the carrier market with solutions ranging from enhanced services to network infrastructure products and operations support systems.
