Sonus Networks Chairman and CEO Hassan Ahmed to Deliver Keynote Address

CHELMSFORD, Mass., August 31, 2006 – Sonus Networks (Nasdaq: SONS), a leading supplier of service provider Voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure solutions, announced that at this year's Fall 2006 Voice on the Net (VON) Conference and Expo, the Company will showcase its industry-leading IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)-ready platform, along with a variety of IMS-ready applications that demonstrate the power of IMS to redefine the communications experience through greater user control, customizability, presence-awareness and the rich integration of multimedia.
