SDN/NFV Training
SDN and NFV are just a few of the transformations affecting modern networking design and architectures. In this course we will ensure you master SDN and NFV networking, both theoretically as well as practically in our labs.
In this hands-on training, you will learn how to create conceptual-level designs for SDN and/or NFV solutions (independent of technology). Be able to explain the various SDN frameworks, how SDN and NFV complement and reinforce each other and to successfully plan, deploy, and operate a complete range of solutions in the highly-related SDN & NFV technologies.

The main course objectives are:
- Create conceptual-level designs for SDN and/or NFV solutions (independent of technology).
- Explain the various SDN frameworks
- Explain how SDN and NFV complement and reinforce each other
- Identify the various components in a SDN/NFV system
- Explain the interfaces and functionality of SDN and NFV components
- Explain the concept of a service chain
- Determine required controller functionality against specific service requirements
- Select products for networking services based on the business requirements using SDN/NFV
- Lab Hands-on to create basic and complex topologies with help of Mininet and OpenDaylight Controller
- Knowledge of latest Networking Technologies like SD-WAN,SD-LAN, universal CPE(uCPE) and Segment Routing which are prime use cases of SDN/NFV
Core Prerequisites:
In order to be able to learn the topics in this course in an effective manner the participants are expected to have a basic understanding of:
- Networking terminologies
- Transport/IP/MPLS/Ethernet technologies
- OSI Layer & Network Architecture and Design
