Empowering Our Partners: A Unified Approach to Success

I took on the role of Senior Vice President, Global Channel at Ribbon earlier this year and wanted to provide an update on some of the enhancements my team and I have made to our partner program since then.

Partners play a crucial role in our business, so providing them with the resources they need to thrive is our top priority. We know that it takes more than our portfolio of state-of-the-art UC and IP Optical networking solutions – we need to deliver a comprehensive program that enables partner profitability.

To that end, we’ve strengthened our go-to-market (GTM) strategy to better meet the channel’s needs and accelerate the path to profitability. Most of these features are easily accessible from our intuitive, easy-to use partner portal the go-to location for tender documentation, training, sales bulletins, newsletters and much more. Ribbon Partner Enablement

  • Training and Certification: we offer comprehensive training and certification towards partner accreditation. This newly mandatory accreditation ensures that every  partner is fully informed and equipped to sell. You’ll also find self-paced and instructor-led online eLearning for sales, sales engineers, and technical staff.
  • Technical Support: our partner technical support desk is available for Ribbon-certified engineers, and partners have access to demonstration gear and comprehensive business tools.

Ribbon Partner Profitability

  • Competitive Discounts and Incentives: we offer competitive discounts, incentives, promotions, marketing funds, and deal registration programs to ensure partner profitability. Incentive programs are designed to reward commitment and performance, and include financial incentives, recognition awards, and exclusive access to events and networking opportunities.
  • Joint Marketing Activities and Marketing Support: partners can leverage these activities for increased visibility. Our team also delivers customizable marketing campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials to help drive demand. We regularly hold webinars on key industry topics, offering valuable insights and actionable strategies.

What’s next?

Going  forward, we’ll continue to focus on increasing opportunities for our partners. We’ve expanded our events roster, including our new INSIGHTS Series. These regional events (Prague, Dallas and locations TBD in India) are a fantastic way to meet our executives and subject matter experts, network with other partners and share success stories. They’re also an excellent way for partners to explore our complete set of solutions and expand their portfolios.

Looking further ahead, we are committed to making it easier for partners to work with us to when creating complex solutions for their end customers.
