T&S Software's Zeus Product Passes telecom technologies' Interoperability Testing

- INIP PoweredSM Partner Program to Offer Next-Generation Call Center Solutions -

RICHARDSON, Texas - October 24, 2000 – telecom technologies, inc., The Softswitch SourceSM, and T&S Software, announced today that T&S Software, a provider of intelligent voice products, has completed interoperability testing between their Zeus Media Server and telecom technologies' INtelligentIP softswitch and has attained "powered" status in their INIP PoweredSM Partner Program.

The Zeus Media Server has an integrated Applications Server and Media Server in a single box and utilizes an extremely flexible scripting language for program and telephony control. This sets the Zeus IP Media Server apart from similar products because it does not require extensive programming for the end user. Another key application of the Zeus Media Server is a SIP based pre and post paid calling card. The Zeus Media Server interfaces to the INtelligentIP softswitch through session initiation protocol (SIP) for call control.

"With the advent of e-commerce, demand for IP-based IVR, enhanced services, and voice mail is exploding," said Terri Griffin, vice president of marketing for telecom technologies. "Solutions aimed at managing huge volumes of calls represent a lucrative and fast growing market for emerging and incumbent carriers, Internet service providers and even large enterprises."

"The major benefit of our Media server is its powerful flexibility and extensibility. Combined with the INtelligentIP softswitch, a CLEC or ISP can use the Zeus IP Media Server to easily and rapidly create customized industry-specific services such as intelligent routing, one number or after hours services," said Karen Shelton, president and CEO of T&S Software. "We deliver a scripting language with every product - which allows end users to quickly expand their service offerings, increase revenues and satisfy customer needs. Bottom line, the Zeus IP Media Server offers a full range of accelerated time-to-market benefits."

telecom technologies' groundbreaking INIP Powered Partner Program was launched in November of 1999. The interoperability lab addresses real-world business communications problems in six key areas of telecommunications: enterprise end-office; inter-exchange carrier switch; voice and data over DSL; packet cable; toll bypass; and Internet offload.

At the program's core is the INtelligentIP softswitch, a scalable, carrier-grade softswitch platform that affords an open, cost-effective solution to the packet-circuit network challenge. INtelligentIP provides the glue that binds application software and media-gateway hardware together, enabling emergent carriers to compete successfully in the highly volatile and cost-conscious telecommunications marketplace. This softswitch also enables the carriers that build and operate these "converged" networks to provide exciting new telecommunications services for businesses and consumers faster and at lower cost.
