Access Routers

Ribbon’s Access Routers are purpose-built for 5G xHaul, converged interconnect networks (CIN), the access edge for broadband backhaul and mission-critical applications. They are ideal for converging the access edge across these network types by providing support for multiple access technologies including Ethernet, TDM (CES) and XGSPON.

Aggregation Routers

Ribbon’s best-in-class aggregation routers deliver high availability with terabit-scale and are purpose-built for service provider, MSO (cable), enterprise and mission-critical networks. Their modular architecture allows the network to grow cost-efficiently as services grow in capacity and complexity. The aggregation router’s redundancy provides the high-availability required for carrier-class and mission-critical service delivery.

Metro Routers

The Ribbon Neptune 2700 is a high-performance, multi-service router optimized for high-capacity metro aggregation. Whether its IP/MPLS, SR-TE, FlexE and IPoDWDM, the Neptune 2700 uses the right IP transport technology for each service it supports.

IP Wave rNOS

Ribbon’s IP Wave rNOS supports both the integrated router and disaggregated router approach. It is purpose-built to operate across Ribbon’s integrated and disaggregated router solutions, ranging from the 1RU access router built for the distributed cell site gateway (DCSG), all the way through to the redundant modular, multi-RU high-availability aggregation and metro routers.
