Last week Ribbon held its annual Partner Summit in beautiful Prague, Czech Republic.

This was a great opportunity to connect face to face with our partners, review the past year’s highlights and share our insights into the state of the market in both the short and long term. After a full day of presentations, portfolio reviews, and discussions, we came to the highlight of the day: the chance to recognize our partners during our awards ceremony. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all of our partners for their commitment and support throughout the year.

Solutions Vendor of the Year –AlliumTech

Allium Tech has quickly picked up on the need to capitalize on the Carrier Direct Routing market and is the first of our partners to deploy an SBC SWe in their core network, which they’re leveraging to provide an SBCaaS for Service providers across the Italian market.

New Technology Partner of the Year –VoD Communications

VOD Communications is always up for a challenge and has grabbed the new technology mantle while working in a geographically and technologically challenging environment. The company has done a phenomenal job in taking on Ribbon’s latest technology offerings and driving it across the South African market.

Global Partner of the Year – Orange Business Services

Adding value and winning across a multicultural and multinational environment is always challenging. Over the past several years Orange Business Services has achieved that while also being a reliable and high value multinational partner for Ribbon, consistently winning an unfair share of global deployments.

Distributor of the Year – Westcon-Comstor

The award for Distributor of the year went to a partner that has achieved a consistent level of performance over the past three years with a strong focus on Ribbon’s SBC 1000 and SBC 2000 market. While their regional headquarter is in the UK, Westcon’s ability to deliver solutions across EMEA is unmatched and we appreciate their continued drive and commitment.

Service Provider Partner of the Year – Colt

Colt has wholeheartedly embraced some of the most challenging verticals in the industry and won some key accounts this year, leveraging their strong pan-European reputation and Ribbon’s solutions, in particular in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Growth Partner of the Year – Koris

This partner has achieved significant growth in the past year and exhibit an impressive level of market expertise especially in the Microsoft space. Koris also won a key multi national enterprise account this year, showcasing their ability to deliver complete end to end solutions in a very competitive market.

Cloud Partner of the Year - Byon

Byon, well known for its technical expertise, is a key partner for Ribbon in the German market, and is the first partner to offer a hosted TEAMS solution targeted at SMEs. As such, it won the title of “Cloud Partner of the Year”.

Ribbon Champion – Rob Parrott Conn3ct

The final award of the afternoon went to Conn3ct’s Rob Parrot, who has been a real ambassador for Ribbon, both internally and externally. A highly knowledgeable engineer with in-depth knowledge of Ribbon products, Rob enjoys an exceptional reputation across the UK market and is passionate about developing long lasting partnerships.
