Thank you, Washington DC, for the biggest Perspectives ever!
So, we say a fond farewell to another Perspectives summit. Last week we welcomed more than 700 attendees through our doors, our biggest attendance ever! As an increasing number of people want to hear our perspective and share theirs, we want to continue to deliver a forum like no other that allows these ideas to spread.
It’s fair to say that last week has delivered exactly that. We held a host of meetings, panel sessions, and demos for our delegates, with many sessions, such as one led by the FCC on the best practice for using networks to tackle robocalling, were standing room only.
Our Solutions Showcase offered something for everyone, from Intelligent Edge Management, to how to adopt CPaaS, what value you can extract from the data running on your network while improving its security, or how to transition to Microsoft Teams. Meanwhile our wonderful sponsors showcased a broad swath of solutions from OSS to headphones, helping to round out the options. And in order to amp up the activity further, we partnered with the Network Media Group to deliver livestream panels with our customers and executives.
The Ribbon executive team was also busy, completing more than 80 briefings with the media and analyst attendees that come to hear from the Ribbon ecosystem every year. We shared our strategy moving into the second half of 2019 and beyond with journalists from APAC, Europe, Latin America and, of course, North America in these sessions. At the same time, it has been fantastic to hear that our move into analytics and security to extract further value from the network has the approval of the analyst community.
All of this hard work was topped off in style with some wonderful evening events including a night at the museum and a private concert with pop icon Taylor Dayne who has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide. Our #RBBNP19 hashtag got a lot of visibility and you can see highlights on our social wall.
None of this would have been possible without the help of our customers, partners and sponsors – we thank you all. We love nothing more than keeping our community up-to-date on what we’re doing as a business, so we appreciate everyone who took the time to attend. Perspectives is a company-wide effort and it never ceases to amaze me how our team continues to make this a flagship event for our industry – thank you team Ribbon!
And if you’d like to join us for what promises to be another must-attend event in the evolution of our industry next year, please do get in touch. We’d love to see even more of you next time in Miami, Florida!
