My Year One at GENBAND

May 2015 marks my one year anniversary with GENBAND and what a year it has been!

Over the past twelve months, I have had the great opportunity to travel the world, meet new people, make new friends and reconnect with old ones. I’ve enjoyed working with some of the most talented leaders in the real-time communications industry, while growing with my team of marketing communications professionals. We’ve accomplished a great deal, and have an even more exciting year ahead. And just yesterday we were named to the 2015 CNBC Disruptor 50 list!

This month I look forward to seeing everybody in Orlando at GENBAND’s annual customer and partner event Perspectives 15. Last year was the first opportunity that I had to help produce the Perspectives event, and what I look forward to most, besides spending time with our customers and partners, is how much we will all learn from global leaders including Sir Ken Robinson.

I’m grateful for the platform GENBAND has provided me to share stories about the use of communications software that helps people at scale through Internationally Inspiring, while also continuing my personal blog, BtheChange.

In addition to all these events, my talented and hardworking team have also created dozens of videos, new websites, driven hundreds of successful marketing campaigns over a new digital marketing platform, have built GENBAND’s social presence, media coverage, and more.  As the brand champions, we are in the fortunate position to be able to serve as storytellers for the company at an incredibly interesting and challenging time in the real-time communications industry – as innovators and leaders. We work hard, we have fun, and we are making a difference!

And finally, I’m thankful to our management and leadership teams for their vision and drive – and for the opportunity of a lifetime to join them on this journey.
