Gearing Up for a Great Time at GENBAND’s Perspectives15 Customer & Partner Summit!

We are just over a month away from Perspectives15, GENBAND’s annual customer and partner summit, and I can’t tell you how excited I am for this year’s event. Last year’s conference was my first time participating and I could not believe the effort my team put into making it a virtually flawless and fun event for all.

Our goal is to make Perspectives one of the must-attend events in the industry and judging by the feedback that we have received from previous events we are well on our way to accomplishing this objective. This year we have been hard at work again and I am confident that Perspectives15 will be our best yet.  The conference program includes great networking opportunities for nurturing existing relationships and building new ones, fantastic entertainment that will surely have the attendees talking and outstanding educational elements.

First, the line-up of luminaries and speakers we have scheduled is second to none. Our featured keynote presenter is none other than Sir Ken Robinson, internationally recognized leader in the development of creativity, innovation and human resources in education and in business.  He has been ranked among the Thinkers50 list of the world’s top business thought leaders. His 2006 presentation at the TED Conference is the most viewed video in TED’s history. 

In addition to Sir Robinson, we also have featured keynotes scheduled from executives at HP, Intel, SAP and Verizon among others.  Our guest speakers will be discussing the trends and issues that are driving the communications industry.  

We are also super excited about this year’s featured entertainment; the renowned rock band KANSAS will be performing at the House of Blues in Orlando on May 19th as part of our many fun programs incorporated into the 5-day event.  The band has produced multiple gold and platinum albums and boast well-known rock anthems ‘Dust in the Wind’ and ‘Carry On Wayward Son’!

To add to the excitement we will also have our KandyMobile, a state-of-the-art RV fully equipped with the Kandy communications platform technology, onsite. Kandy is a one-of-a-kind platform that allows anyone to easily embed real-time communications functionalities such as IM, voice and one-touch instant multi-party video into existing applications and business processes. The KandyMobile is on a Real-Time Communications tour throughout North America and we are pleased to offer Perspectives15 attendees a first-hand taste of Kandy.

 

To add to all of this we have moved the conference to a new, larger venue, the prestigious JW Marriott Grand Lakes Orlando – one of the most sought after resort destinations in the country.  The hotel features some awesome amenities including The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, an 18-hole, 72-par Greg Norman Signature golf course; the Ritz-Carlton Spa, Orlando, Grande Lakes featuring 40 treatment rooms, a 4,000-square-foot lap pool and a 6,000 square foot fitness center; and five-star restaurants specializing in various cuisines.
